The company was started in 2014 by Shane Rasnak – it has served over 70 organizations and achieved consistent growth in revenue and profitability for nine consecutive years.
We’re based in the New York City metro area and operate remotely. This role is our first hire – you’ll be working directly with the founder/CEO, and will be an essential part of the company’s operations and growth.
Our clients include small businesses, startups, universities, and nonprofits working in a wide range of markets including: higher education, personal & professional development, healthcare, mental wellness, and more. We only work with clients we believe are making a positive difference in their communities, and whose products/services we can proudly advocate for.
The Role
We're looking for a Digital Marketer who can provide support across a variety of workflows for multiple clients, including campaign management, copywriting, design, project management, and reporting.
This is an ideal role for someone with 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, and is seeking a flexible, part-time role where they can work remotely, gain experience, and grow their skillset.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with and be mentored by an experienced digital marketer/entrepreneur, and become a well-rounded marketing professional who can step into any growing organization and add value.
You’ll learn practical skills such as: developing a customer avatar and messaging strategy for clients, drafting social media/ad copy, creating digital ad designs, creating and analyzing campaign performance reports, setting up website analytics, and creating ads in Meta Ads and Google Ads.

Your responsibilities will include…
Copywriting
Organize/edit meeting notes into a clear and compelling customer avatar and messaging strategy
Work with AI tools (ChatGPT) to brainstorm new concepts and draft copy
Project Management & Operations Support
Keep project files and folders organized in Google Drive
Create proposals and project timelines in Google Docs/Google Sheets
Online research
Design
Collect, review, and organize client design assets in Google Drive
Review and identify suitable images and videos for campaigns
Basic graphic design in Canva
Digital Ads Campaign Management
Monitor ad accounts to spot potential issues
Communicate with ad platform support to resolve account issues and disapproved ads/accounts
Draft weekly report emails for clients based on ad performance metrics
Set up new ads for campaigns with approved copy & designs
Analytics
Set up analytics and conversion tracking using Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Google Ads Tag, and Google Tag Manager
Install Meta/Google tags, set up triggers, and conversion events/goals
Track campaign performance
It’s not required that you know how to do all of the above when you start, but candidates should be excited to learn and gain these skills over time.
After initial training, you’ll be expected to take initiative to expand your knowledge and develop your skills further.
What We’re Looking For
Must be able to work at least 5 hours per week during business hours on Eastern Time
At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing
Bachelor's degree in relevant studies (marketing, communications, business, etc.) preferred but not required (if not, you should have relevant work experience instead)
Strong writing and communication skills
Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Drive, and spreadsheets (Google Spreadsheets/Excel)
Proficiency with social media
Ideal but not required: experience working on ad campaigns in Meta Ads and/or Google Ads

A Good Writer: You write well and take pride in your ability to do so. You can craft professional emails and documents. Bonus if you have training or experience in copywriting.
Organized and Detail-oriented: You’re an effective project manager, capable of driving multiple work streams and juggling changing priorities. You’re self-motivated, capable of being productive with minimal supervision. You follow through on your commitments, and meet deadlines consistently.
Enjoy Working with Digital Tools & Tech Platforms: You’re digitally savvy, working effectively with a wide range of digital platforms and tech tools. You’re comfortable with social media, software tools and mobile apps, able to learn new tools quickly, and eager to gain more technical skills.
Resourceful, Humble, and Adaptive: You thrive on new challenges. You learn new things quickly. Nothing is beneath or above you – your mindset is always to add value to the team to the best of your abilities. You possess a positive, can-do attitude and are adept at identifying creative solutions to obstacles.
